CHRYS is a mental health program designed for teens, young adults, adults and families, offering counseling services through in-person sessions, telehealth video calls, and secure messaging. We offer programs led by mental health professionals that help manage challenges like anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, and self-identity issues. You can choose from Subscription Plans, Goal Oriented Programs, or Pay As You Go services based on your needs.

Getting started is easy! Download the CHRYS app, create an account and sign up for a consultation. Complete any forms required for your first meeting with the therapist.

We recommend a face-to-face initial consultation for better outcomes.

Our therapists use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Counseling, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care to help with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship management, social media balance, and academic stress. We offer flexible service options:

• 16-Week Programs for focused, goal-oriented counseling.

• Subscription-Based Services for ongoing support and continuous guidance.

• Pay-As-You-Go for one-time counseling sessions without long-term commitment. Choose the option that fits your needs and start your mental health journey on your terms.

CHRYS offers flexible pricing:

• Subscription Plans: Monthly fee for ongoing support, including weekly counseling sessions and unlimited text-based check-ins. This service option presents a savings from pay as you go services.

• Goal-Oriented Programs: One-time payment (or choose from different payment plans) for structured programs focused on specific issues (e.g., stress management, digital detox and others).

• Pay-As-You-Go: Per-session pricing for those who prefer occasional support.

• Pricing details are available on our website, and you can choose the plan that best fits your needs and budget.

CHRYS does not accept insurance, however we invite you to speak to our front office that can set you up with Chrysalis Health, our parent company that accepts commercial insurance. 

Absolutely. If you’re on a subscription plan, you can cancel or switch plans 30 days before your billing date through the app or by calling 786-467-1494. For goal oriented program, we recommend completing the full program for the best results, but you can reach out to us if you need to pause or change your plan.

For subscription plans, you can cancel at any time, but we do not offer refunds for the current billing period. Pre-purchased packages are non-refundable once the program begins. If you experience an issue, please contact our support team to explore available options.

Yes! This is a great advantage of text therapy. You are able to articulate your thoughts through writing. All messages between you and your therapist are saved in the CHRYS app, so you can go back and review them anytime. This can be especially helpful for revisiting advice, tools, and exercises shared during your conversations. Your message history is always private and secure.

Yes, your privacy is our top priority. All sessions and data are protected by HIPAA compliance standards, ensuring that your information remains confidential and secure.

We do our best to match you with a therapist who fits your needs based on the information you provide during intake. If you feel your therapist isn’t the right fit, you can request a change at any time.

If you’re in crisis and need urgent support, CHRYS provides access to 24/7 crisis resources and emergency contacts. However, if you’re facing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Parent or guardian can book a consultation with the therapist at any time directly through the app with their own login. 

Messaging is a convenient way to stay connected with your therapist. You can send messages anytime through the CHRYS app, whether you want to share updates, ask questions, or reflect on your progress. Your therapist will respond as soon as possible during their available hours. Messaging allows for ongoing support between live sessions, helping you feel more connected and supported.

Live chat sessions let you have real-time conversations with your therapist through text. It’s a great option if you prefer writing over talking. Simply schedule a session in the CHRYS app, and when the session starts, you’ll chat back and forth in a private, secure chat room. It’s easy, discreet, and just as effective as other forms of communication.

Live video sessions are just like traditional therapy, but from the comfort of your home. During your scheduled session, you’ll connect with your therapist through the secure video feature in the CHRYS app. You’ll be able to talk face-to-face, just like an in-person session, and work through your concerns together. All you need is a reliable internet connection and private space to talk.
